Signing in and adding account
After the app loads for the first time, it will ask you to select your library. Type in your library name and select it from the list. Enter in your barcode and PIN.
After logging in, you’ll be looking at a page which displays new materials from our libraries. You can browse through the carousels as you like, or, to search for a specific title, use the search box at the top.
If you don’t wish to see any of the carousels, you can hit the X Hide button on the right side of each.
If you want to show the carousels again, or manage the carousels more closely, scroll to the bottom and select Manage Carousels. From here, you can toggle carousels on and off.
Search results can be filtered by tapping Filters or Search within in the top row.
You can then search for materials at a specific library, in our online collections, or by the desired audience. Select your desired filters, and then hit the green Update button at the bottom to refresh your search results.
In the results title list, tap the title you’re interested in for additional details.
To see where items are located, tap the Where Is it? Link near the bottom left.
To place a hold, tap the green Place Hold button on a title’s details screen. The app will ask you to confirm how you’d like to be notified when the hold comes in, and have you select your pickup library. Click the green Place Hold button again, and voila!
To view your current holds and checked out items, tap the Account icon on the bottom of the app.
You’ll see a left-hand menu showing you options – select what you’d like to look at.
For example, Titles on Hold will list all the items you’re on hold for. When viewing the holds screen, holds ready for pickup will always show in the top section.
To see checked out items, tap the Account button and then from the left-hand side menu, choose Checked Out Titles. Items due the soonest will be listed on top, though you can re-sort titles as you wish by selecting the Sort By box at the top and choosing a different option.
The app will display library cards so that they can be scanned in the library, without having your physical card present. To do this, tap the Card icon at the bottom of the app and then click Open Barcode:
This can be scanned at circulation desks or at self-checks.
If you have multiple cards in your app, you can display any of them by choosing Open Barcode.
